Tuesday around 6:16 a.m., the Hopkinsville Police Department responded to a report of a deceased person in Little River near West Side Park.
Tuesday evening, the Hopkinsville Police Department identified the victim as 34-year-old Clifford Barber of Bowling Green.
Barber had suffered gunshot wounds to his torso and foul play was suspected, according to officers. .
On Wednesday, Hopkinsville Police Department said 44-year-old Terrance Christian of Hopkinsville has been arrested and charged with murder of Barber. He was lodged in the Christian County Jail under a $5,000 cash bond.
