A woman is dead after crashing into a tow truck in Oldham County late Thursday night, according to police.
Oldham County Police responded to a call around 11:05 p.m. of an injury crash on I-71 N just north of the 22/La Grange on-ramp on July 30.
At the scene, officers found a gray 2025 Toyota Corolla that had rear-ended a heavy wrecker that was assisting a tractor cab on the shoulder of the road.
The driver of the Corolla, 34-year-old Parvina Shodieva, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
The case remains under investigation.
