
Three people are now charged in connection with the death of a 1-year-old child in Scottsville.
Friday, July 31, 51 year-old Tina Renee Price was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal abuse (child 12 or under), knowingly abusing or neglecting an adult and second-degree cruelty to animals.
On Tuesday, July 28, 22 year-old Alexandrae Price and 22 year-old Deavan Williams were charged with first-degree criminal abuse (child 12 or under).
Friday morning, the Allen County Animal Control responded to the home again that is located on Cottage Drive where officers with the Scottsville Police Department said they found a total of three dogs, 12 cats and one opossum.
All the animals were removed from the home, but most of them showed signs of neglect, and several are in such poor condition that humane euthanasia will be necessary, according to a media release.
Additionally, multiple agencies are actively working together to address the welfare and placement needs of other vulnerable people associated with the home, according to a media release.
The Scottsville Police Department has asked the community to come forward with any information they may have in connection to the 1-year-old who was found dead.
