A high-speed chase that started in Tennessee ended in Bowling Green after a pit maneuver on Scottsville Road Monday night, according to Kentucky State Police Trooper Katan Parker.
Parker said 22-year-old Joshua Frazier, of Nashville, was pulled over by Nashville Metro Police Monday night.
During that traffic stop, he fled. Tennessee Highway Patrol then searched for Frazier and located him near the Kentucky border. It reached out to Kentucky State Police and stayed with Frazier until Kentucky State Police took over the pursuit.
Kentucky State Police then initiated a pit maneuver on Scottsville Road.
Frazier is currently booked at the Warren County Regional Jail on a number of charges, including speeding more than 26 MPH; first-degree fleeing or evading police; first-degree wanton endangerment; operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol; reckless driving; failure to maintain required insurance; failure to use a signal or improper signaling; failure to illuminate head lamps; and improper registration plate. He is being held under a $35,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 7.
Kentucky State Police were assisted by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the Bowling Green Police Department.
