A former Bourbon County Middle School wrestling coach and current University of Kentucky employee is now facing federal sexual abuse charges.
Megan Foley, 36, was previously arrested on charges of rape, sexual abuse and sodomy after police say a 14-year-old came forward and reported he was sexually abused by Foley multiple times.
Foley allegedly admitted to abusing the victim when speaking with investigators, according to court documents.
She is now also facing federal charges of online enticement of a minor and transportation of a minor for unlawful sexual activity, according to an affidavit.
The affidavit says Foley used text messages, Snapchat and TikTok to communicate with the victim, and that she abused him on a trip to Madison County.
Foley was placed on administrative leave by UK, and the Kentucky Board of Nursing suspended her license.
She was scheduled to appear in federal court Monday, August 10.
