
A 17-year-old boy was killed, and a 16-year-old boy was critically injured in a shooting early Saturday morning in downtown Louisville.
According to Louisville Metro Police, officers responded around 1:30 a.m. to 217 E. Main Street after a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found 17-year-old Kameron D. Neal, who died at the scene.
Police also located a 16-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to UofL Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No arrests have been made, and police have not released any details about suspects.
Louisville Metro Alcoholic Beverage Control issued an Emergency Suspension Order for Dasha Barbour’s in connection with the shooting.
Louisville Metro ABC said investigators preliminarily determined the shooting was “directly related to noncompliant operations occurring” at Dasha Barbour’s.
The order immediately suspends the alcohol license at Dasha Barbour’s.
