Elizabethtown Police are conducting a homicide investigation after an woman’s body was found at a residence Saturday morning in the 500 block of Joan Avenue. Police arrested and charged Joseph Capstraw, 20, of Florida, on a charge of murder. He was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center. Police was called to a home near the American Legion Park around 2 A.M. EPD spokesman Chris Denham said investigators said the homicide appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community. Denham said the accused and the victim knew each other.
