
The Barren River Drug Task Force and the Barren County Sheriff’s Office arrested three Barren County men on meth charges.
According to the drug task force, while responding to a report of possible meth manufacturing on Old KY 821 Cutoff Road in Hiseville, a Drug Task Force detective noticed 24 year-old Johnathan Neal fleeing out the back door carrying a meth lab.
Police apprehended Neal and found a bottle that had the suspected meth remains.
A Drug Task Force detective then noticed 48 year-old Phillip Depp Piper of Hiseville trying to leave through the back door. Piper was stopped without incident.
Police also found 33 year-old Ricky Brandon Neal of Glasgow in the home.
Detectives found chemicals and equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine inside and outside the residence.
The Hiseville Volunteer Fire Department was at the scene to decontaminate the three men.
All three were arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine 1st degree. Johnathan Neal was also charged with fleeing and evading police 2nd degree and tampering with physical evidence. All three were lodged in the Barren County Jail.
