
A two vehicle accident Tuesday evening (12/15) sent a Radcliff man to the hospital.
According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 5:15 pm at the intersection of Kentucky Highways 313 and 144 near Flaherty School. A blue 2005 Honda Accord driven by 26 year-old Amy Richardson of Ekron was stopped at the intersection on Highway 144. She attempted to make a left turn onto Kentucky 313 and pulled into the path of a southbound white 2005 Ford Taurus driven by 53 year-old Steven Samuel of Radcliff.
Samuel was not able to avoid Richardson’s car and struck it. Samuel was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown for his injuries by Meade County EMS. Richardson nor her two passengers were not injured. The Flaherty Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
