A Leitchfield man faces multiple charges after driving through a checkpoint in Edmonson County Saturday night.
Kentucky State Police Post 3 had a traffic safety checkpoint with the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Department and the Brownsville Police Department at the intersection of KY 259 and KY 70 West.

The pursuit ended on Saint Anthony Road where a Trooper from Kentucky State Police Post 4 was set up with a tire deflation device. The spike strip deflated the tires of Dague’s vehicle, and police say he continued a short distance further before running off the roadway and stopping in a ditch.
Troopers say Dague then fled the scene on foot where he was caught and taken into custody. Further investigation revealed he was a Fugitive for a Parole Violation warrant out of Indiana.
Police say Dague was also under the influence and in possession of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
