A 40-year-old Hodgenville man has been arrested for attempted murder for reportedly choking his nephew.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office responded to First Street off U.S. 31W north of Elizabethtown in the early morning hours Sunday. The arrest citation says the victim nearly passed out as he was gasping for air while being choked.
Raymond Alden Harris was arrested and lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center. In addition to attempted murder, Harris is charged with fourth-degree assault, minor injury.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
