A Cecilia woman who escaped last Wednesday night from the Western Kentucky Correctional Complex near Eddyville was seen Monday (2/22) in the Sonora area by local authorities.
Local law enforcement is looking for 40 year-old Lostia Michelle Shreves.
Hardin County Sheriff John Ward said Shreves was seen in the Flint Hill area Monday afternoon on Lewis Loop. She was with 40 year-old Randy Harrington of Elizabethtown, in a vacant home on the road. Deputies arrested Harrington and charged him with receiving stolen property after officials found a stolen truck and Shreves fled on foot.
Ward is advising residents in the Sonora and Flint Hill area to be cautious when answering their door and keep doors and vehicles locked.
A perimeter was set up around a wooded area and a K-9 was brought in from Breckinridge County. An overhead search also was conducted, according to Ward.
Anyone who sees Shreves, who is described as 5-foot-7 with short brown hair and blue eyes, is asked to call 911 and report any suspicious activity.
