Motorist can expect delays on US 31W in southern Hardin County beginning Thursday.
The bridge on US 31W over Interstate 65 near Sonora will be reduced to one lane beginning Thursday night (August 25th) as crews prepare to finish pouring concrete on the new bridge.
At approximately 7 pm, temporary signals will be activated at each end of the bridge to direct alternating one-way traffic.
Work should take one week to complete. Both lanes will be open by the night of September 1st, before the Labor Day Weekend.
