Police are searching for a teen girl in central Kentucky who went missing after her stepmother was killed in their home.
Kentucky State Police say 15-year-old Jenna Oakley was last seen at Boyle County High School on Wednesday afternoon. Authorities were called to the Danville home Thursday where they found the body of 52-year-old Rhonda D. Oakley. Police say Rhonda Oakley was killed but the cause of death has not been released.
Police say Jenna Oakley may be driving a white Honda Civic that belonged to Rhonda Oakley with Kentucky license plate 2113-BT.
Officials say authorities are treating Jenna Oakley’s disappearance as a missing person case, and no suspects have been named in the death. Purdy says an autopsy was performed Friday morning on the body.
