Law enforcement in Barren County says Amber Franks has escaped from the Barren County Jail.
Police said Franks walked away from a work detail around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday near the Glasgow square.
Police searched the area but couldn’t find Franks immediately.
They believe Franks may have been picked up by Jeffrey Mitchell AKA Jeffrey Franks. They believe the pair may be headed to
Olive Hill.
Franks was in the Barren County Jail on a robbery charge.
She was last seen wearing an orange shirt, gray pant, and pink tennis shoes.
Jeffrey Mitchell is described as a white male with long hair, and tattoos on one of his arms.
Police say if you see Franks or Mitchell to call 911.
