The state auditor’s office finds a number of faults with the Butler County government.
The biggest is $9,000 for the sale of scrap metal never made it back to the county treasury.
The audit also shows a lack of separation between the jail commissary and inmate accounts.
Auditors said the fiscal court didn’t have control over credit card transactions.
