Kentucky State Police urge individuals and businesses to watch out for counterfeit bills.
Counterfeit bills are being circulated throughout the Western Kentucky area. Independence Bank officials in Owensboro say several $100’s and $20’s circulated through Daviess, Webster, and McCracken Counties.
The bills are very realistic in appearance, but has a statement on the be back saying: “FOR MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY” and “THIS NOTE IS NOT LEGAL. IT IS TO BE USED FOR MOTION PICTURES”.
