A single vehicle accident near Payneville sent three people to the hospital Thursday (9/27).
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 11:40 am on Highway 144 at Payneville Hill, when a vehicle ran off of the roadway. One person was reportly ejected from the vehicle. The driver and two passengers were taken to University of Louisville Hospital by Meade County EMS for their injuries. The Meade County Sheriffs Department was assisted at the scene by the Meade County Fire Department.
