Louisville Metro Police seized nearly 70 pounds of methamphetamine worth more than $136,000 during a recent drug operation.
Police said the bust began in late October when LMPD’s Third Division Criminal Interdiction Unit conducted a traffic stop, confiscating nearly 10 pounds of meth and a handgun.
Detectives later executed a search warrant connected to the case, seizing an additional 58 pounds of meth and a rifle.
In total, officers recovered 68 pounds of the drug along with the two firearms.
The investigation remains ongoing.
