Members of Meade County emergency services united Sunday (9/11) afternoon to honor and remember their fallen brothers in the line of duty during the September 11, 2021 terrorist attacks.
The ceremony marked the twenty first anniversary of the attacks, the images and impacts are still vivid to those who serve the local community. The half hour ceremony followed a parade of emergency vehicles including police, EMS and fire departments that traveled from the Meade County Courthouse in Brandenburg to the Muldraugh Safe Room.
The message remains strong to never forget for our agencies and our communities to stand strong as one nation during the difficult times.
