A Vine Grove man died as a result of a motorcycle crash just after 7 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Bullion Blvd and Innovation Way in Hardin County.
According to the Kentucky State Police, 63 year-old Jeffrey Barnes was operating a Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on Bullion Blvd when for unknown reasons, he entered into the median before striking a concrete drainage ditch causing Barnes to be ejected from the motorcycle.
Barnes was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Hardin County Coroner’s Office.
Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, Hardin County EMS and the Hardin County Coroner’s Office.
The collision remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
