A 34-year-old Morgantown woman has been indicted for wanton murder in relation to a crash that claimed the life of an Eastview resident last August.
After a preliminary investigation, Kentucky State Police reported that a 2003 Jeep Liberty driven by Meagan Renfrow crossed the median on the Western Kentucky Parkway on the morning of August 18, 2022.
The eastbound vehicle entered westbound lanes, striking a 2016 Ford Fusion operated by 31 year-old Dakota Parks, of Eastview and a former resident of Caneyville, the report said. Parks was dead at the scene, according to the Grayson County Coroner’s Office.
Renfrow was indicted for wanton murder this month by a Grayson County grand jury. She was arrested February 14 by the Leitchfield Police Department and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center, where she remains under a $100,000 bond. The case will be heard in Grayson Circuit Court.
