Bowling Green Police Department arrested a man Thursday morning after investigating a domestic-related kidnapping that happened the night before.
Police say the victim was found safe, but the suspect left the area while multiple officers, deputies and troopers were searching the area.
Matthew A. Aubrey, 39 year-old of Bowling Green, was found in the closet of a residence off Nashville Road by the Bowling Green Police.
He was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail and charged with Two counts of Violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO, Two counts of Kidnapping-Adult, Assault (2nd Degree) and Robbery (1st Degree). He is being held under a $50,000 cash bond and scheduled to appear in court on March 29.
