The U.S. Food and Drug Administration cleared an opioid treatment device that was tested in Kentucky.
The NET Device acts like a neurostimulator.
The device uses low-intensity electrical stimulation to help people with opioid addictions stay clean.
NET Recovery, the company behind the new device, partnered with Isaiah House to offer NET Devices to patients.
Last month, the Isaiah House opened a location in Bullitt County.
The Isaiah House has 30 NET Devices at its eight locations, as well as other resources and treatment.
