A new policy related to REAL ID was put into place in airports across the country on Sunday, including Muhammad Ali International.
Starting February 1, those who do not yet have a REAL ID can still board domestic flights, as long as they pay a $45 fee to the Transportation Security Administration.
If you don’t have a REAL ID, you can input your information and pay the fee online before your flight.
About 94 percent of travelers own a REAL ID.
