Members of the Brandenburg City Council worked through business during their regular monthly meeting Monday (4/13) evening.
The Council approved the second reading of a ordinance related to the rezoning of property owned by Judy Jackson along High Street. The council also approved two business licenses. They discussed several standard operating expenses that questioned by Councilmember Donna Brown.
The council went into a closed session for the purpose to discuss items related to deliberations on the future acquisition or sale of real property by a public agency, but only when publicity would be likely to affect the value of a specific piece of property to be acquired for public use or sold by a public agency and discussions of proposed or pending litigation against or on behalf of the public agency. The council returned with no action taken during the nearly 40 minute closed session.
The next regular meeting of the Brandenburg City Council will be held on Monday, May 11.
