Officials at Fort Knox issued a statement regarding increased training noise from the military installation over the coming days.
Training is scheduled to between June 12-18 and could louder than normal at times. The training is expected to involve aircraft, maneuvers and weapons fire during both day and night time hours. The training could produce increased noise and vibrations around the greater Fort Knox area during the period.
The training exercises are an important aspect of maintaining critical capabilities and readiness of all units.
