A special presentation celebrating 15 years of service and dedication was made during the Meade County Fiscal Court meeting Tuesday (8/11).
Meade County Emergency Management Deputy Director Angel Gates was recognized for her leadership and service. Whether it’s long days, late nights, or managing complex situations behind the scenes, Angel’s commitment to the safety and well-being of Meade County is unwavering. Emergency Management Director David Greer presented an award plaque to Gates. Greer said “As her award beautifully states: “Your hard work and dedication to our organization is what makes it so great! Thank you for your countless hours, long days, and determination to the community.”
Judge Executive Troy Kok presented Gates with a certificate and a county coin. In addition to her service as deputy director, Gates previously worked for Red Cross and has worked with several search and rescue units in her 27 year career.
