Dorothy Jean Wardrip, age 90 of Brandenburg, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026.
She was born on November 26, 1935, to the late Robert and Nannie Chism. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Emmett “Pardner” Wardrip; brothers, Sydney, James, Russell and Marvin Dale Chism; sisters, Pauline Pawlawski, and Wanda Bennett.
She is survived by…
One daughter: Georgia Wardrip;
Three sons: Eric Wardrip, Steve Wardrip, Dennis “Bim” Wardrip;
Three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family has chosen cremation. Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
