A car containing five passengers, four of them children, left Ky. 220 Sunday (11/22) night and came to rest upside down in a creek.
According to emergency officials, a woman was able to remove the children from the vehicle before emergency responders arrived. The passengers were taken by Hardin County EMS and then two children were flown to a hospital in Louisville.
The wreck occurred around 8 p.m. on Ky. 220, about a mile west of Patriot Parkway. The car was eastbound on the road and appears to have hit a guard rail and rolled over before landing on its roof in the creek.
Kentucky State Police, Hardin County sheriff’s deputies, Radcliff and Rineyville Fire Departments and Hardin County EMS personnel responded to the wreck.
