A Nelson County teen was found dead along Taylorsville Road in front of the post office in Bloomfield early Tuesday morning.
Sheriff Ed Mattingly said 18 year-old Rasheed Wickliffe’s received a lethal puncture wound to the neck during a fight, but the kind of weapon has not been revealed.
Two other young men were taken into custody for questioning. Late Tuesday afternoon, one of them, 18 year-old Alexander C. Roberts of Bloomfield, was booked into the Nelson County Jail on a charge of murder.
The sheriff says Wickliffe and 19 year-old Trenton Lovvorn showed up at a house a few doors down from the post office where Roberts lived.
Mattingly said his department is familiar with both Lovvorn and Roberts. It is unknown if Lovvorn will face charges.
