Authorities said a 31-year-old man was charged with murder in the death of a 1-year-old girl in Jeffersontown earlier this year.
Bradley Hanlon turned himself in to authorities on Friday after a Jefferson County grand jury indicted him in the death of Hannah Fowler.
Police said Hanlon was the boyfriend of Fowler’s mother. Authorities said the girl died two days after police responded to an emergency call at an apartment complex in Jeffersontown on September 25.
Jeffersontown police have not released many details of the case because it is an ongoing investigation.
Hanlon and his attorney, Bob Eggert, appeared in court Friday. Eggert maintained his client’s innocence, saying the girl’s death is a medical case.
