The chairman of the University of Louisville’s board of trustees says President James Ramsey has the board’s full support during an FBI investigation of top health care executive David Dunn and two other officials.
Ramsey placed Dunn and Pricilla Hancock on paid leave Wednesday, the day after it was reported the FBI was investigating possible misuse of federal funds. Dunn’s former top aide, Russell Bessette, resigned in Jan. 2014.
The review likely will be completed in a matter of months.
U of L also is awaiting the results of an NCAA investigation into allegations basketball recruits and players were provided prostitutes paid for by a former employee.
