
A Bullitt County man was arrested on charges related to child sexual exploitation Thursday (12/17) after Kentucky State Police served a search warrant at his home.
Dennis R. Schliebener, 59, is charged with seven counts of distribution and 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Each charge is a Class-D felony, punishable from one to five years in prison.
Schliebener was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. Detectives with the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after observing Schliebener sharing images of child sexual exploitation online, including images and video of prepubescent children engaged in sexual acts.
The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at Schliebener’s residence in Mount Washington on Thursday, December 17, 2015, by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch. The Mount Washington Police Department assisted on scene. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to Kentucky State Police’s Forensic Laboratory for examination.
Schliebener was lodged in the Bullitt County Detention Center.
