On January 1, 2016 around 9:30 p.m., Kentucky State Police Post 16 was serving a warrant on Highway 54 E in the Falls of Rough Community in Ohio County.
According to KSP, troopers located 34 year-old Nathaniel Tritchler hiding in a back room of the residence and identified him as the subject of multiple arrest warrants.
Upon further investigation, KSP says Tritchler was found to have multiple firearms including a stolen handgun. Tritcher was also in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Tritchler was placed under arrest for active warrants from multiple counties in addition to charges of: Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense; Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess; Possession of Marijuana; 3 counts of Possession of Handgun by Convicted Felon, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Persistent Felony Offender and Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm).
Tritchler was lodged at Ohio County Detention Center.
