A early morning fire caused damage to a house in the 300 block of 4th Street in Irvington.
Fire Crews from the Irvington and Webster Fire Departments were called to the scene around 2:30 A.M. Thursday morning (1/28) after stated that the house was on fire. When fire crews arrived on the scene, they found the house fully engulfed in flames. Crews worked several hours and had to return due to hot spots in the debris.
Units from the Irvington and Hardinsburg Police Departments and Breck Central EMS assisted at the scene. The Kentucky State Fire Marshall was called to further investigate the cause of the blaze. The fire remains under investigation.
