Jimmy Ray Lingerfelt, age 82 of Brandenburg, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026, in Louisville.
He was born on August 20, 1943, in Louisville, son of the late Norman Webster and Eva Louise Lingerfelt. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Norma Coy; and brother, Edward Lingerfelt.

Nine children: Timothy Lingerfelt, Steven Lingerfelt, Keith Lingerfelt, Tonia Schone, Patricia Buchanan, Christa Bowen, Brian Bowen, Angela Greenwell and Cassie Mitchell;
Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home in Brandenburg on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 4 until 8 p.m. EDT.
