One of the first things that comes to mind when you think of the 4th of July is fireworks.
Fireworks are fun but also can be very dangerous when lighting them at home.
One expert says when lighting fireworks, keep a fire extinguisher near, follow the instructions and do not use your own fireworks that you have made.
Never hold the fireworks in your hand while lighting it and always keep your body away from all fireworks. Most of the time accidents happen because somebody has a body part over the firework.
Have it on a hard surface, so in case it tips over it doesn’t point toward you. Any time you’re lighting a firework, you want to make sure it’s secure so it doesn’t go into a direction that is unintended.
