
The man who has served for nearly a quarter-century as President and CEO of the Kentucky Lottery has died.
Arch Gleason died July 1 due to injuries sustained in a fall, according to a release from the Kentucky Lottery.
On June 13, 69 year-old Gleason announced he would be retiring after 23 years of leading the organization.
Before coming to Kentucky in September 1993, Gleason served as director of the West Virginia Lottery on two separate terms. He was also a former secretary of the West Virginia Department of Transportation.
