Contract crews will begin working toward rebuilding the Kentucky Highway 79 bridge and approaches over the spillway at Rough River Lake starting Monday, according to the Kentucky Department of Highways.
The project had been bid out for work earlier this year, but expedited due to an issue at the bridge earlier this month.
Traffic will continue to utilize a temporary signal for alternating one-way traffic across the bridge.
Additional traffic pattern changes will be required during the project.
Wide loads will be prohibited during construction with a 10-feet width limit from Monday through November 30th.
