
Four adults were injured after bricks fell from a building on West Pike Street Thursday, according to Covington Fire Chief Dan Mathew.
Multiple emergency crews responded to a report of a partial building collapse at around 11 a.m., according to Kenton County dispatch.
Contractors were making repairs to the roof of the building when a portion fell onto the street hitting four adult chaperones, who were with a class on a field trip.
One person was briefly trapped under the bricks. Chief Mathews said witnesses assisted them until first responders arrived.
The four victims were transported to area hospitals where they are expected to be OK.
No children were hurt.
