
A coroner’s office has released the identities of two men killed in a weekend accident on southbound Interstate 75 in Kentucky.
Media outlets report the Fayette County coroner’s office identified the victims as 40-year-old Michael Jones of Leslie County and 42-year-old Chad Taylor of Whitley County. They were pronounced dead at the scene early Saturday.
Lexington police Lt. Jackie Newman says the men were driving separate vehicles that crashed at a high rate of speed. Newman says two passengers were hospitalized.
The accident remains under investigation.
