A Bardstown man is charged with second-degree wanton endangerment after shooting at a woman and her dog after mistaking the woman for a clown.
Adam Tingle saw a woman walking her dog Monday afternoon and yelled at her, thinking she was a scary clown that has been popping up all over social media recently.
After the woman and her dog didn’t stop walking, Tingle fired a shot from his rifle. Tingle told responding officers he shot at the woman because he felt frightened due to the recent clown sightings.
The woman and her dog were not hurt by the gunfire.
