The 2016 Christmas By The River opened strong as organizers complile the attendance numbers from the first weekend.
Organizers said that 1,148 cars visited the annual light display during the first weekend. On Saturday, 766 cars went through the park on Saturday night after the lights went on. Good weather is credited for the up tick.
Almost 80 lighted displays help celebrate the holiday season which is in it’s 18th year. As you visit Christmas By River, tune your car radio to the special holidag channel for the official event soundtrack.
