A single vehicle accident in Breckinridge County sent three people to the hospital Saturday (12/17) night.
According to the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened a couple miles from Westview in the 5000 block of Highway 259 South around 9:50 pm CST, when a 2007 Ford car driven by 23 year-old Michael Stone of Falls of Rough ran off of the roadway and struck a tree.
Stone along with his passenger, 34 year-old Melanie Woosley of Clarkson and a six year-old juvenile, were taken to Twin Lakes Regional Hospital in Leitchfield for their injuries by Breck Central EMS.
The McDaniels Fire Department assisted at the scene, where crews were on the scene about 90 minutes.
