An Thursday night shooting in Franklin sends one woman to the hospital.
Franklin Police Department responded to a report of a victim being shot at the Franklin Medical Center on February 9 at 10:43 p.m.
The shooting happened in the side yard of 504 Ryan Street.
Police found that 49-year-old Christine Crowder of Westmoreland, Tennessee was shot twice by a man they believe to be 45-year-old Vincent Ficklin of Franklin.
A witness says Ficklin approached his truck and shot a gun twice through the driver’s side window into the truck that was occupied by Crowder, the witness and another person.
Crowder was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital in stable condition.
