A accident along Shumate Road Monday (6/19) sent a driver two children to the hospital.
According to the Meade County Sheriff’s Department, the accidnet happened around 9:50 am when two vehicles sideswiped each other. Originally reported as a non injury accident, but after police arrived on the scene it was discovered that a few injuries had occurred. One adult and two children were taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital by Meade County EMS for treatment of their injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the Meade County Sheriff’s Department.
