Due to icy weather conditions that are in the forecast, Meade County Schools will be closed on Friday, January 12.
All school and sport activities are also cancelled for both Friday and Saturday as well.
School was already scheduled to be closed on Monday, January 15, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. federal holiday.
The first 2 snow days, January 8 and January 12, will be made up on February 19 and May 18.
Snow learning packets were sent home Thursday with all students.
This packet should be put in a safe place as the students will begin using it on the “3rd” bad weather day that is missed. Those packets will be used to make up any missed weather days on the next 5 days after Friday, January 12.
