
Meade County emergency crews responded to several accidents over the past week.
Crews were called to the scene of a two vehicle accident just before 3 pm Tuesday (5/29) at the intersection of Brandenburg and Buck Grove Roads. A female driver was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown by Meade County EMS. The Ekron Fire Department assisted the Meade County Sheriff’s Department at the scene.
On Sunday(5/27) around 12:20 pm the Meade County Sheriff’s Department was called to a report of a three vehicle accident in Garrett at the intersection of Kentucky 1238 and Brandenburg Road. One of the vehicles struck the side of a building. One person was reported being trapped in one of the vehicles. The Flaherty Fire Department assisted at the scene. One person was taken to University of Louisville Hospital, another person was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital and two were taken to Norton Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville.
