A Vine Grove man was indicted by a Meade County grand jury Monday for murder and tampering with physical evidence.
Tyler Petty, 18, was arrested and charged with murder May 21 in Meade County. He is accused of killing 65 year-old Cris Blehar, whose body was found inside a home on Woodland Road in the Flaherty area.
After the grand jury date was postponed from June 14 to July 12, Petty was indicted. He is lodged in the Meade County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond.
Arraignment is set for 9 a.m. August 5.
